Which One is More Suitable for You?

Choose the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 if you:

  • Are Concerned about Space: The NordicTrack 1750 is a large machine, but with its slightly more compact design than the 2450, it can be better for smaller spaces.
  • Seek Balance between Cost and Performance: The NordicTrack 1750 features a 3.5 CHP motor which provides more than enough power for an effective, high-intensity workout. And its smaller screen is still very large compared to other models in its class. So, we think it is a cost-efficient option that balances quality and cost.
  • Find a 14″ Display Adequate: The NordicTrack 1750 comes with a 14-inch touchscreen, which is smaller than the 2450’s, but is still large compared to other models. It is perfect for iFit classes or navigating a virtual trail via Google Maps.

Choose the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 if you:

  • Have Enough Workout Area: With dimensions of 81L x 39W x 69.6H inches, the NordicTrack 2450 needs slightly more room. However, if you have available space, you’ll enjoy the benefits of a more spacious running surface and the immersive experience of the larger screen.
  • Desire Slightly Higher Power: The 2450 model has a 3.6 CHP motor, which is slightly stronger than the 1750’s. While the difference might not be noticeable during workouts, it could potentially prolong treadmill lifespan.
  • Prefer a Larger Display: The NordicTrack 2450 comes equipped with a stunning 22-inch touchscreen display. Even the treadmill in gym clubs usually have smaller screens. This larger screen size could greatly enhance your workout experience, especially when watching interactive iFit classes or exploring virtual trails. So, if you would like a more immersive experience or use off-machine iFit classes from a distance, this larger display is a great plus.
  • Like a Quieter Treadmill: The 1750 is a quiet treadmill but the 2450 model operates even quieter than the 1750 model. So, if you prefer your workout environment to be as quiet as possible then the 2450 is a better option.

Motor Power:

The NordicTrack 2450 model has a slightly more powerful 3.6 CHP motor compared to the NordicTrack 1750’s 3.5 CHP motor. We think the difference in motor power is unlikely to have a noticeable impact on anybody’s workout. The difference is so small but maybe it can have some effect on the longevity of the treadmill. Also we noticed that the NordicTrack 2450 is slightly quieter than the 1750.

Screen Size:

The main difference is the screen size. The NordicTrack 2450 has a huge 22-inch touchscreen, which is larger than the 1750’s 14-inch screen. The larger screen on the 2450 can provide a better user experience with iFit. It is great for virtual trails with Google Maps, but the 14-inch screen is enough for many people. Both screens have tilt and pivot capabilities, so the larger screen can be helpful when you are using the screen for other iFit classes (off-machine) from a distance.
