Treadmill Pace Chart

Do you want to understand how to use speed and pace stats on your treadmill, we make an easy-to-use chart that will help you understand how to use these metrics to reach your desired level of intensity.

Treadmills usually show you two important metrics on their consoles: pace and speed. These stats are used to measure the intensity of your workout. Speed shows the number of miles or kilometers per hour you are running or walking on the treadmill which is the speed of the treadmill belt, while pace refers to the amount of time it takes you to run or walk a certain distance. Speed is typically measured in miles per hour (mph) or kilometers per hour (kph) and the pace is typically measured in minutes per mile or minutes per kilometer.

If your treadmill does not show the pace, you can calculate it or print out the below chart for reference. To calculate the pace, just divide the total time it takes to run or walk a certain distance by the distance covered. For example, if your speed is 4 MPH, that is you run 4 miles per 60 minutes, your pace would be 15 minutes per mile.

In the below chart, we have provided a range of speeds and corresponding paces from slow to fast. We hope this treadmill speed and pace chart will help you to understand how to use treadmill speed and pace stats to reach your desired level of intensity.
