Horizon Fitness STUDIO Series treadmills such as 7.0 AT, 7.4AT, and 7.8 AT can connect compatible third-party apps on your smart devices via Bluetooth. Some apps use Bluetooth FTMS technology while others (Peloton) rely on the Bluetooth heart rate monitor to transfer data.
Because of the connection method used by apps and the features they offer, each app integrates with Horizon treadmills with different capabilities. For example, not every app can adjust the speed and incline automatically. Also, some of the apps only use speakers and media controls. Also, to use Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, and Strava you first need to install the AtZone app to your smart device.
